We love to see oaky wines done right! That is to say JUST the right amount where the oak complements the fruit flavours of the wine but does not stand out and try and steal the show! This rioja blanco does just that! It's lightly tropical on the nose, with delicate hints of pastry, perhaps a little fennel and white pepper our staff claim as well! The palate is serious, polished and velvety! One of our favourites right now! 90% Viura and 10% Garnacha blanca.
