Arnot-Roberts - 'Luchsinger Vineyard' - Trousseau - 2020

$79.00
North Coast, California, USA

" Our North Coast Appellation Trousseau is sourced from the three distinct vineyards; Luchsinger, Bohan Ranch and Bartolomei. The soil and weather in these sites are distinct from each other and as a result yield fruit with singular personalities. We harvest and ferment the sites on their own, without destemming and the resulting wines are aged separately in a mix of neutral French oak barrels and stainless steel. Blending takes place in the early spring and the wine is bottled without fining or filtration in early May.

Trousseau is the thinnest skinned grape we work with and we appreciate this unique variety for its ability to make a wine that is light in color but packed with flavor. We feel that Trousseau is an extremely versatile wine that will pair well with a wide variety of foods and occasions. "

Fruit for this varietal Trousseau is whole-cluster fermented with native yeasts and aged for 11 months in neutral French oak. Crunchy, bright, and thirst-quenching, we promise you’re going to love this bottle – think of it as Jura inspiration meets cool-climate fruit from the North Coast.
