Baia's Wine - Krakhuna - 2023
Obcha, Georgia
Honeycomb - Baking Spice - Apricot
Hailing from a winemaking family, this third generation group of siblings have continued the 8,000 year old tradition of winemaking in Georgia. Using only traditional methods, and fermenting in qvevri (clay amphoras), 30% of the grapes for this wine macerate on skins for three months before fermenting with wild airbone yeasts. The result is a beautifully concentrated wine with aromas of persimmons, apricots, and citrus fruits, and a long finish with a hint of structured tannins.
As a licensed restaurant, by Ontario liquor law we are required to sell you a single food item if you purchase alcohol.
If you do not specify which food item you'd like your order will come with a bag of Miss Vickies Original chips. They're super tasty :)
