Managed by siblings Clémentine and Bastien, the 9th generation, Domaine Baud continues to flourish and grow, with a strong commitment to sustainable viticulture and preserving the traditions and style that makes the wines of the Jura so unique and incredible. Located in the Jura - a narrow valley in the remote hills between Burgundy and Switzerland which was covered by an ocean millions of years ago - it still bears the fossils of that time. Kick a stone in Jura, and it's likely a fossil. The estate achieved the Terra Vitis certification in 2014 for its eco-friendly work and environmental preservation. This silky, full bodied, oak-aged Chardonnay displays all the classic notes - apples, white flowers, and citrus with a pinch of the marl-limestone soils it's grown on. This wine balances class with a distinctive complexity.
