Red Plum - Blackberries in Cast Iron - Forest Floor

Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon hâteau Lamarque is one of the oldest properties in Gironde. It was acquired in 1664 by President Rolland, president of the mortar in the Parliament of Guyenne, and it belonged to his family for several centuries. In 2015, Frédéric and Françoise Boudat became the owners of this magnificent vineyard. It is located on the hillsides overlooking the Garonne Valley, opposite Sauternes. Château Lamarque benefits from one of the most beautiful terroirs ( clay-limestone and silico-ferruginous soil) and beautiful sunshine, located on the highest point of Sainte-Croix-du-Mont. Since their acquisition, the owners have carried out major restructuring work in order to exploit the full potential of the vineyard. Thanks to its restructuring and the quality of the terroir as well as its Merlot-Cabernet blend and its aging in barrels, Château Lamarque offers a pleasant wine that can be kept for several years
