Philip Lardot - der Graf Riesling - 2020
Mosel, Germany
Lime - Textured - Mineral
Though technically a "landwein" due to the fact that this riesling undergoes malolactic fermentation and therefore is not "typical" of Mosel wine, the grapes are coming from a single parcel of grapes of around only 0.2 hectares. Because this is a landwein, the vineyard cannot be specified on the label. Malolactic fermentation coverts the harsh malic acids (think green apple) into lactic acid (think buttermilk). This adds texture to a wine and is most common with wines made from chardonnay. Very light filtration and 20ppm So2 (very low) added just before bottling.
As a licensed restaurant, by Ontario liquor law we are required to sell you a single food item if you purchase alcohol.
If you do not specify which food item you'd like your order will come with a bag of Miss Vickies Original chips. They're super tasty :)
