Lemon - Citrus - Baked Bread
Bright pale straw yellow with touch of green hay. Slightly petrolly nose followed by the pure fruity flavour of lemon, citrus, crushed apple, pear and a bit of baked bread. A dry Riesling but the savoury yeasty creaminess brings rounded mouthfeel rather than sharp impression which this grape variety normally gives. Manual harvested, Whole bunch, Gentle press for three hours, no SO2 or enzymes added,10 month ambient ferment in stainless tanks, Matured for 10 months in tanks, 5 in barrels.
